GENL 1200 Student Athlete Orientation

The course is designed to assist student-athletes making the transition from high school to college.  Student-athletes will gain a broader understanding of the effects of health and wellness on balancing the academic, athletic and personal aspects of their lives.  The course is designed to educate student-athletes about the opportunities and issues they will face as they transition into college.  Topics discussed include: understanding personal responsibility, stress management, nutrition, academic support resources, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, and time management.
