FINT 3000 Financial Institutions

This course is an in-depth study of financial institutions with a focus on the functions of commercial banks. Banking services such as deposit accounts, lending, payments, and investments will be covered. For each service, attention will be given to the regulations and risks. We will also address the impact of emerging technologies on traditional bank functions.

FINT 3100 Banking as a Service

This course is an in-depth study on the Banking as a Service model where licensed banks offer non-banking companies access to their services. We will examine the relationships between the financial institutions, BaaS providers, and Fintechs. Attention will be given to the benefits of this model as well as the risks and regulations surrounding it.
