Advanced Financial Analysis is a course designed to allow students to develop an ability to recognize financial problems, collect and analyze financial data, formulate alternative solutions, and render financial decisions. Case materials are used in studying financial problems. Case presentations are required. Topics include: financial statement analysis, assessing financial health of the firm, planning future financial performance, evaluating investment opportunities, financial operations, business valuation, and corporate restructuring.
Occasionally
Explore foundations of international financial decisions and their applications to financial practices. Topics include: International macroeconomic concepts, foreign investment projects, and managing exposure to exchange rate, taxation, inflationary, economic, and political risk.
