MSW Degree Requirements
The Generalist MSW program* consists of completing a minimum of 59 credit hours in the following areas:
- Generalist Practice-29 required credits (7-3 credit courses, and 2-4 credit courses)
- Advanced Clinical Practice Core-21 required credits (7-3 credit courses)
- Advanced Clinical Praactice Cognates-9 required credits (3-3 c redit courses)
*for students that did not graduate with a bachelor's degree from a Council on Social Work Eduction accredited program.
The Advance Standing MSW program** consists of completing a minimum of 30 credit hours in the following areas:
- Advanced Clinical Practice Core-21 required credits (7-3 credit courses)
- Advanced Clinical Pracice Cognates-9 required credits (3-3 credit couses)
**for students that graduated with a bachelor's degree from a Council on Social Work Education accredited program.
