OTDP 6331 Level IC Fieldwork: Children and Youth OT Practice
This course emphasizes the development of clinical reasoning, therapeutic use of self and the occupational therapy process with a focus on the socialization of professional behavior and attitudes into the practice environment. Simulation and/or faculty-led experiences promote an organized approach to implementation of the occupational therapy process including evaluation, intervention planning, and goal setting. The course includes exposure to various service delivery models within children and youth practice settings such asinpatient rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, school-based practice, and early intervention.
