OTDP 6322 Level IB Fieldwork: Physical Rehabilitation OT Practice
This course emphasizes the development of clinical reasoning, therapeutic use of self and the occupational therapy process with a focus on the socialization of professional behavior and attitudes into the practice environment. Simulation and/or faculty-led experiences promote an organized approach to implementation of the occupational therapy process including evaluation, intervention planning, and goal setting. The course includes exposure to various service delivery models within adult and older adult rehabilitation settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, inpatient rehabilitation, and specialty practice facilities.
