OTDP 6225 Theoretical Applications in OT
This course focuses on developing a deeper understanding of models of practice and frames of reference that shape occupational therapy practice in relationship to engagement in occupation. The student participates in the critique and analysis of the theoretical perspectives commonly used in occupational therapy practice and examines the role of theory in the professional decision-making process as it relates to occupational therapy practice for clients across the lifespan. This course meets online via both synchronous and asynchronous methods.
