OTDP 6112 Functional Anatomy
This course explores the study of human musculoskeletal anatomy. The course emphasis is on functional understanding of the clinical application and impact of common injuries and conditions related to bones, muscles, and peripheral nerves. The lab portion of this course provides students with study of musculoskeletal structures of prosected human cadaver specimens (bones, muscles, and nerves), using 3-D dimensional anatomy software, and synthetic human anatomical models for a hands-on experience aimed to enhance lecture material. This course meets online via both synchronous and asynchronous methods, and includes an experiential lab immersion.
