Neuroscience
Understanding how the nervous system allows animals to control their bodies, explore their surroundings, form memories about their experiences, and produce complex behaviors and thought--in a word, neuroscience--is a multidisciplinary endeavor. This minor provides students who wish to pursue neuroscience-related careers with preparation that builds on foundational knowledge in biology, psychology, and other sciences and stresses the interdisciplinary nature of the study of the brain and mind through coursework that cuts across the natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities.
