MUSI 154 Intermediate Class Piano I
This course provides the third semester of instruction for music majors (non-pianists) preparing for the departmental Piano Proficiency Requirements. Keyboard reading and technique are further developed and harmonization is realized throughout major and minor tonalities. Scalar and arpeggio techniques are covered as well as preparation for further requirements in the vocal/choral or instrumental area. Ensemble and solo literature are further explored.
