CMIS 3000 Data Communications and Security

This course elaborates on the theory, concepts, and applications of data communication technologies in today’s business settings. Students will build on their knowledge of personal, local, and wide-area network architectures and technology standards. The course will also cover business issues related to network and data security, as well as the methodologies used to protect corporate data assets. Finally, the course explores emerging standards and related management considerations, including those related to cloud computing.

CMIS 3400 Project Management

This course provides students with a hands-on experience in applying project management and systems analysis, design and implementation. Students will work with local business professionals in the design and delivery of a project.
