This major is intended as a second major. The Health Education major desiring to pursue teacher certification must also complete all requirements for the All-Grades (K-12) Education major, including student teaching.

Health Education Sample Plan of Study

Health Education is not a stand-alone major. Students typically declare Physical Education / All-Grades Education / and Health Education (and a Coaching minor).

Following is one possible way to complete the major.

Students should fill in gaps with coursework required for the core curriculum and other majors/minors to take an average of 14 credit hours each fall and spring, and 3-4 credit hours each Interim.  Total credit hours needs to be 124 for degree completion.
