Honor Code
As a community of scholars, Augustana University mutually embraces an Honor Code that guides academic work and learning. The Honor Code reflects a shared covenant between students and faculty to uphold integrity, accountability, and ethical responsibility in all academic endeavors.
Students affirm their commitment to the Honor Code by signing the Honor Pledge on examinations and other assignments as designated by the instructor. The Honor Pledge is as follows:
“On my honor, I pledge that I have upheld the Honor Code, and that the work I have done on this assignment has been honest, and that the work of others in this class has, to the best of my knowledge, been honest as well.”
