Post-Graduate Certificate - Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
AGACNP POST-GRADUATE CERTIFCATE REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for obtaining the AGACNP Post-graduate certificate are:
Successful completion of all course work (20 credits) with a B or higher grade in all graduate nursing courses.
Passing each clinical rotation with satisfactory evaluation from the clinical preceptor along with a completed Typhon clinical encounter database.
A Minimum of 750 acute patient direct care hours must be completed.
Upon admission, the student's gap analysis will determine the number of hours matriculated into the PGC program from the past graduate program.
Upon completion of the didactic, practicum and capstone degree requirements, the graduate will be awarded the AGACNP Post-graduate Certificate and will be eligible to sit for the national certification in their specialty area.
