Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies
The Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies minor allows students to develop an interdisciplinary analysis of gender as a category, the ways in which the social construction of gender shapes personal identities and beliefs, and the structures in which those identities and beliefs must perform. It also, through its capstone course, encourages students to take what they have learned in the minor and apply it to their careers, social lives and communities after their graduation.
